🔗 YouTube Recommendation: World War Two
Back in 2014, Indy Neidell and his associates launched a YouTube channel called The Great War. Its premise was that it would recap the events of World War I exactly 100 years after they occurred. This YouTube channel always had an expiration date because the 100 year anniversary of the end of the First World War would occur on November 11, 2018. So earlier this year Indy and Spartacus Olsson announced their follow-up project: a in real-time retelling of the events of the Second World War.
The YouTube channel is called World War Two and it started on September 1, 2018 with the 80th anniversary of the invasion of Poland. I have been a huge fan of Indy's work ever since I found about The Great War and cannot wait to spend the next six years learning about World War II.
If you are as intersted as I am I would highly recommend you check out their Patreon and consider throwing them a couple of bucks. This is not a massive team. They are three people at the moment basically doing this in their spare time. This sort of content doesn't reap those YouTube ad bucks so they need help from their community directly.
