Japan 2025: Day 14
I really tried to write something detailed for today but there wasn't much more to say other than we went to Ueno Park and visited multiple museums. Specifically the Tokyo National Museum and National Museum of Nature and Science. We saw everything from Buddhist statues, wood block art, dinosaur bones, tea gardens, Korean ceramics, even HachikÅ's taxidermied pelt. I wouldn't necessarily suggest you put these museums on your list of places to visit as most of the exhibits aren't in English. But I highly recommend you pick a day to spend at Ueno Park in general because even if you're not a museum person it is a beautiful public park with lots of other attractions including a zoo.
After our previous failed attempts at going to Sushiro we were finally able to find one that was open and absolutely gorge ourselves. We went through like 20+ plates no problem. Definitely check it out if you're looking for a quick bite when you're in Japan. We were in and out in like 30 minutes and the fish was actually really good for what could be considered a fast-food restaurant.
